Truly a masterpiece of an anime. The gripping plot displayed in these two short minutes are a wonder to behold. As an intellectual, I can assure you that watching this anime will not be time wasted. The intricate dialogue between the two main characters was stupendously crafted and had me wanting more. When compared to the original Re:Zero, this sequel far exceeds it in all aspects. As a bonus, it focused on the best girl in the series, Emilia. This simple change pushed this anime from amazing to god tier. My only complaint is that it is only a single episode. I can understand thisdecision however, as such high quality animation and heart wrenching dialogue comes at a steep price.

If you are an intellectual looking for a new anime to fill the empty void in your heart left by other masterpieces like SAO, this is the one for you.
