Review of Diabolik Lovers II: More,Blood

Honestly, I didn't think this could get any worse than season 1. I was wrong. I'm not even sure why I bothered to watch season 2. I was hoping to give it redemption, but once again it let me down and I was wrapped into finishing the season to see if the story would lead anywhere. It did not. The whole season was about her getting stolen by another group of "Brothers" who see her as leverage to the original vampire brothers. Supposedly, the original brothers were "concerned", even though Ayato was the only one really interested in getting her back. It takes till the endof season 2 to finally rescue her and we are then introduced to a pair of werewolf brothers who really throw everything off because there was no backstory or anything in the plotline hinting to their characters or their arrival. In the end I think it was a whole chunk of confusion all over again and another waste of time. I do not recommend the series overall.
