Review of Recovery of an MMO Junkie

While it is well produced, this anime felt pretty mediocre in terms of the cast/characters. I understand that they are people with a bit of social dysfunctional in their lives, but both main characters seem rather flat and uninspired. I found myself more interested in the male lead's matchmaking buddy or the in-game cast/characters, who seemed to have more personality than both the leads outside the game, who felt like mere ciphers in the plot. I think they should've developed more of the story in regards to other game team members, who were hinted at a bit in a few episodes, but much like theleads themselves saw very little character development. Tragic because finding out about all the characters 'behind the characters' eventually meeting the main characters, it might've been more interesting than the emphasis on their slow-paced romance arc.
