Review of Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale

It's pretty enjoyable, if you don't think too hard about it. Music is pretty dope, plot is okay, characters are your usual SAO characters, the whole AR theme is pretty nice. Villain is pretty meh. At least it's not Laughing Coffins again. Reki had a pretty good thing going with the "Asuna lost her memories" plot. That diary scene was actually pretty powerful. Shame in the end the conclusion is kinda nonsensical. It really is just like him to drop the ball like that. Now just waiting for Alicization adaptation. I imagine Kirito x Asuna fans, after being spoiled by this movie, will be pretty mad aboutthe plot in that.
