Black Clover is an enjoyable show. Usually, I'm not into anime with too many episodes, but I made an exception and overall I liked the anime. Plot and characterization wise, it's a great show. Most of the characters have their own likeable sides and the cast is so huge it's unlikely you won't find someone to relate to or a character that will easily become a favourite. The plot has ups and downs but it's there, and towards the end of all these episodes you find yourself wanting to watch even more (or start reading the manga). Great music, at least two of the bestopenings I've ever heard.

Unfortunately, what made me give a not-so-high vote - and I was very conflicted about giving a 6 instead of a 7 until the end - is that overpowered characters are not my jam (and I'm not talking about the protagonist). If anything, it's what makes me drop an anime. Especially when it doesn't make any sense, be it with the whole worldbuilding or other characters who have the same background and/or trait but for no reason have a completely different development. "Simping" is okay when it does not come from an author. When it does to the point of ignoring the rules an author sets for their own work, that's a big no.

If you manage to ignore those parts (that were too many, in my opinion), you can still enjoy the anime. The last few episodes are the only reason this anime got a 7 from me and not the 6 I originally planned to give.
