Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

I enjoyed this anime quite a bit. I found the main character to be reasonable, a bit respectable, and it certainly wasn't annoying watching him, despite his character being inclined on the emo-ish side because it wasn't overdone. The main saving grace and source of enjoyment I had from this anime though wasn't its main character or the any sort of plot setup, but from Filo and Fitoria, Filo especially. Filo pretty much carried the whole show throughout its first half and that prevented me from being too bored by this anime. And the short few episodes that Fitoria appeared in were the reason Ieven gave this a 7/10 rating tbh, besides Filo being another obvious reason of course. Not sure why Rapthalia was so overhyped. I didn't find her character interesting, not to mention an element that made this anime good or a character worthy of being called Rem's substitute for its particular season.
