Review of Haikyu!! To the Top
It'd be hard no matter what happened to follow up the adrenaline rush of the Shiratorizawa match. This season continues to develop the dynamics between the teammates and those they practice with, and Hinata continues to be a compelling character you just wanna cheer on. Other characters that sort of went by the wayside previously are also given some development and setup for later development (potentially). Speaking of, romance is typically played off as a joke in shounen, so it'd be interesting to see it go somewhere other than a punchline. Outside of that, a significant portion of this season didn't so much feel asa training arc with satisfying progress than it did a stopgap before the spring tournament. Not bad, though not as engaging as I wanted it to be. I sort of noticed some differences in the animation, though I'm not really an expert on whether it's better or worse. Personally, I liked the previous animation style a bit better even though there's not much of a difference.
