This short series isn't what I was expecting, but every time I start an anime this happens. Let's get into the anime basics! The Story; based off the cover and title of this anime I was expecting a Japanese man marrying an English women (someone who doesn't understand Japanese well). This story/plot is actually relatable for me (someone who speaks in fandom/"otaku" terms which doesn't make sense to common people). I loved watching the Tsunashi couple and how much in love each-other although they have different interestsUsually when an anime has this type of animation you know it's going to make you laugh. Sound; beside the cute ending that made me hum along every time, I love the quirky sounds they've added through the anime (especially the horse scenes... don't ask just watch). I wasn't expecting to love the characters so much after watching 13 episodes that were only 3 minutes each. I connected to Kaoru and Hajime so much in so little time; the type of relationship they have was almost to realistic for me, but thats also what made it enjoyable. I usually like knowing to know more about the characters past, but since this was a one-shot series it seemed to make sense.

At the end I really enjoyed this one-shot series. There was romance, a bunch of comedy and don't forget otaku knowledge. This anime almost gave me a "Himouto? Umaru-chan" feel, except with a couple and not a difficult sibling pair.

I can't wait to pick up the manga! I bet it'll give me a lot of laughs on my commutes to work... also PLEASE if you don't want to watch this anime AT LEAST watch episode 11. It'll be worth your while.
