Review of Mob Psycho 100 II
There's something very special and real about Mob Psycho 100. Season 2 is a personal favorite in the series, but the whole story gives exactly what you want out of slice of life while also providing dynamic psychic battle sequences that will have you jumping up and down. The characters are each given their flowers in one way or another; they're all complimentary to Mob's character and well developed on their own enough to feel like individually real people (even the seemingly insignificant side characters). The story will have you laughing your head off for one half of an episode and holding back tears the nexthalf. It's silly while maintaining its message (which has cultivated an incredible community of fans btw). If you're into animation as an art form at all, this series is a must as well, the artistic choices made in this series make it stand out from any other anime I've seen. There's a mix of traditional 2D, paint-on-glass, and sand animation coming together to support the story in an amazingly artful way. It's a feast for your eyes and your heart!
