Review of Devilman: Crybaby

First of all, this anime is definitely not supposed to be watched in public or with minors or those who are not comfortable at all with nudity and also matured scenes (and when I say this, I mean it in a sexual aspects). Storyline: 7 The little twist about Ryo's and Akira's relationship is likeable. I mean, I did not see that coming so I definitely enjoy the surprise. The plot line is somewhat similar to Shingeki No Kyojin where the main character is not any different than Eren. Wars between humans and demons and the existence of devilman that kinda just in between. However, Ikinda dislike the nudity and unneeded sex scenes but oh well.

I love love the way it portrays how humans can be demon too when they are consumed by fear and power. "Who is the demon now?" is a very relatable question that crosses my mind as I was watching this anime.

Characters: 8.5

Somehow, I love Ryo's character. Maybe because of his cold and calculative steps.Bravo to this character. At least it's something different from your regular character.

I don't exactly like Akira though but I don't despise him either. Sort of neutral.

I feel sorry for Miko. She's very very relatable for me and I definitely like how she kind admits to her secret thoughts.

Art/Graphic: 7.5
Looks strange at first. The feeling is somewhat similar to when I was watching Ajin but as the shows go on, I got comfortable and begin to accept it. I definitely appreciate the explicit gory scenes.

Overall: 7
I recommend this story for those who is comfortable of watching nudity and gory scenes.
