Review of Tsukigakirei

Here's the thing, i have an immensely love-hate relationship with this kind of genre specifically Tsuki ga Kirei simplicity efforts intake on romantic relationship. This anime has a lot potential, yet at some part it failed to deliver. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The story is suprisingly great with the sprinkle of enigmatic character development. As we all know, school romance is very common in the anime industry and this anime must throw us something substantial to hype us. I love the fact that this anime progresses throgh the story in a slow pace whilst giving us many doki-doki moment that serves us good. This anime is not too glamorous, yetthe simplicity did the majestic trick. kudus to the seiyuu and the whole sound designer that is very lively in terms of daily live conversation and the background talk that is very realistic.

But why only 7 ?
Well, its because this anime is objectively just another one of those anime that didn't last long for me. Even if the story can change our viewpoint on this genre, its still is just a repetitive pattern with no intention of going further through its limitation. I personally got annoyed by the unnecesary flashback that feels out of place. This anime also has a poor lid especially the late episodes that focuses on 2 main chara. They can actually dig deeper into another notable character that didn't make it in the short eps such as chinatsu or hira. Actually im pretty interested to foresaw a little bit more of their feelings or development responding the aftermath of their rejection/realization instead of just the train scene. The visual surely is not the best nor the worst.
So far this anime has been an astonishing monotonous experience for me and i actually will still recommend this anime to all of you slice of life/romance/drama lover out there. Although for me Tsuki Ga Kirei is just another reharsh representation of romance genre, but stil an exceptional anime to widen your horizon.

This anime truly has a charm but not in a charming way.
