Review of Parasyte: The Maxim
Parasyte; A very good series, this is about a high school student who sees himself in the situation of how you can intuit from what the title says, being parasitized, there is an interaction between parasite and human which leads to the exploration of the value of life in general, we can witness it since Migi (the parasite) has a colder and more selfish vision telling Shinichi (the human) that he only leaves him alive since he could not take control of the brain, Shinichi is usually more emotional because of what this sometimes questions that Migi does things, since in his perspective this isimmoral "But they are human. It is not good to steal", etc. The series shows that within the same species there can be different perspectives, from parasites that try to live with humanity when realizing that they can survive on regular food, humans who would let another die, for example the detective who does not want to get more involved in this case, because he has a family, some take a more direct approach by moving around on their own while others are more cautious.
Moving on to art and sound; it's pretty standard / mediocre, the dubstep doesn't suit the series and the opening ruins everything because it's telling you everything directly instead of showing or implying.
In conclusion, I think it is a good series because apart from the aforementioned, the series ends up very optimistic, since it teaches us two things, the virtue of humanity and that although the value of life is something that will remain ambiguous, it gave us the message not to impose our morality on other living beings.

Parasyte; una serie muy buena, esta trata sobre un estudiante de preparatoria que se ve en la situación de como deben intuir por lo que se dice el título, ser parasitado, se da una interacción entre parásito y humano lo que da a paso a la exploración del valor de la vida en general, podemos presenciarlo desde Migi (el parásito) tiene una visión más fría y egoísta diciéndole a Shinichi (el humano) que solo le deja vivo ya qué no pudo tomar el control del cerebro, Shinichi suele ser más emocional por lo que este a veces cuestiona el que Migi haga cosas, puesto que en su perspectiva esto es inmoral "Pero son humanos. No está bien robar", etc. La serie muestra que entre una misma especie puede haber diversas perspectivas, desde parásitos que intentan convivir con la humanidad al darse cuenta de que pueden sobrevivir con comida regular, humanos que dejarían morir a otro por ejemplo el detective que no quiere involucrarse más en este caso porque tiene familia, algunos toman un acercamiento más directo desplazándose por su cuenta mientras que otros son más cautelosos.
Pasando al arte y sonido; es bastante estándar/mediocre, el dubstep no le queda a la serie y el opening arruina todo porque está diciéndote todo directamente en lugar de mostrar o implicar.
En conclusión pienso que es una buena serie porque aparte de lo mencionado anteriormente la serie termina muy optimista, puesto que nos enseña dos cosas, la virtud de la humanidad y que aunque el valor de la vida es algo que va a quedar a la ambigüedad nos dio el mensaje de no imponer nuestra moralidad a otros seres vivos.
