Review of Redline

i am thrilled to be writing my first review, and what a movie to start with. if i had to use one word i would use insane. is it cliche to call it a adrenaline filled joyride.. not in this cage. the beautiful artwork pulls you in from the beginning. and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the end -_-. i wont bother spoiling it. but its speed racer on crack. (or more specifically coke). ill start buy saying if you like cars, a cute love story, a plethora of unique characters, a laugh, or just appreciate excellent animation this isfor you. if you over analyze anime it might not be. but probably is if we have anything in common. its like the bible, great but dont read into it too much if you want to enjoy it.

the plot is just that... a plot. conflict antagonist protagonist acid trip monsters.. the usual. its not about the.. HEY FREAKY YOU GUYS SHOULD POST A SIGN OR SOMETHING!! never-mind. anyways it makes up for it with amazing characters, art, animation, and music. oh yea yea yea.

the art is as unprecedented as a real life cat dog. a labor of love. the use of black shading and the intricacies of the details make sweet, sweet love to your eye holes. everything is moving all the time. you can almost feel the energy when he pops a cap of nitro. well taught out car designs. well, some are more creative.. but that is part of the fun. from crybabies to lesbian gundam. does not fail to entertain with stunning visuals. the huge battles and the super fast speed. is awe-inspiring like the grand canyon. theres a word for it, i know.

the music will suffice. it will be the last thing on your mind while watching.

the characters are diverse, colorful, unique and plentiful. the main characters are easy to fall in love with. jp with his smooth way with the ladies. sweet driving moves unbreakable spirit is who i aspire to be. HE IS ALL THAT IS MAN! and refuses to die. and sonashi is who his inspiration. she really knows how to shed a starter pinion gear, and is just a dedicated as jp. i forgot the 4 armed mechanics name. but he is a bad-ass. but cares like tough love and junk. but hes still a horn dog for the ladies. his alien friend is Frisbee he says dont go judging a mans skill buy his character. and hes the best dam mechanic in the galaxy. the bad guys are cool i guess. i mean they do have a hyper desentigrator cannon and giant hallucinations at their disposal. does not lack in the character department.

with all this said... why are you still here go watch it. its a huge mark on your record as an anime fan if you don't in my opinion. overall i put 8 because i love it but to say its a masterpiece is laughable. its a piece of entertainment that does its to job. if your a gear head that watches cartoons its a must watch.. you just need to watch it in the case. if your a female or an old person... i cant promise this will fit your dry or fluttery tastes. it is not a movie to be taken seriously... like at all. but the quality of the animation should if nothing else.
