Review of Fighting Spirit: Champion Road

A worthy OVA of a great franchise. This OVA takes some time place after the end of the first season. Solid story with some romance, comedy, and the boxing. The pacing was pretty good for the most part and I was pretty content on most of the things they have done in this OVA. My only problem was with some of the glaring issues of the fight. The characters are decent. Ippo's opponent who knows the functions and weaknesess of the human body and is a docotor which I thought was pretty cool. Ippo's attitude is kinda disappointing, he still acts a bit wimpy/weak duringmatches, he's suppose to be a champion! Hope he develops better in the next season. The visuals have improved, they were smoother and more crisp and the music ws pretty good also.

A recommended watch and is worth your time after you have finished the first season.
