Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
I found out about Anohana while searching for touching anime (after watching Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso, Angel Beats and Plastic Memories) and a common mention was Anohana. So I gave it a try and this is how it went. Story - 8/10 Story is pretty slow at the start, but for me it was still interseting and introduces characters with the right pace. For me the characters dealing with trauma is an interesting subject and I personally enjoyed it. Ending especially is expected, but really well made and the feels definetly kick in. Art - 8/10 It is well drawn, nothing more to say here.Sound 10/10
What makes every drama anime better and really makes the atmosphere is definetly music, and the soundtracks in this one are really good and especially touching.
Opening itself is good, although the soundtrack didn't seem that special or memorable to me.
Ending soundtrack tho, is on a whole another level. It suits the anime perfectly, and it really made the final episode what it is.
Character - 9/10
The characters are good, every one of them is dealing with the past in his own way and are easily relatable. They are introduced slowly, but their relationships are slowly building up throughout the whole anime.
Overall 9/10
I have really enjoyed this anime and would recommend it to literally anyone, but especially for those who are seeking beautiful and touching anime with a bit of sadness in itself.
