This anime has a great idea, what if we got a random dude and made him into a killing machine. That is the begging idea of the anime, so it the story begins pretty straightforward dude is forced to become killing machine. But the author is as creative as tailor swift. A few episodes pass and then the authors like fuck bro what do i do now, oh shit let me introduce this character that will take an interest in our guy that will help him regain his memory. And so the author writes in a character to do that. Same issue comes up again and again, damn ok i need to ad something. Writes in convenient plot point, or adds convenient character. While he is doing all this adding and removing he is trying to (and miserably failing to) tie the plot points and characters together whole fixing some of the plot holes, to try to make it a coherent story.

In this first ark of the anime (its divided in 3) the story makes sense, parts are iffy, but it’s believable. Now on the final episode of the first ark the author has this great idea for a finally where a big twist(that everyone saw coming) happens and the entire story should have ended at that moment. To then say time skip and sike everyone is fine, nothing really changed.

The second ark is much worse then the first, the author focuses now more on the mafia side then our protagonist which is fine, but its kinda boring at times. To make up for this they add a new character, to be with our protagonist and get us attached to it.But a whole bunch of shit goes down and the authors like, oh ok i don't want to use this character anymore cue the offscreen kill, they will never expect that.

The final ark is absolute trash, to much happening at the same time, they bring back characters that are now completely different, characters action don't make sense according to their motivations. We step back on character development, and then we just add a lil storm trooper aim with a touch of killing off any beloved character left and its finished.

Over all 3/10 this anime in an nutshell can be summed in on phrase. “ha bet you weren’t expecting that to happen”
