Akira is a masterpiece it is ahead of its time with fluent animation and it deals with real world problems like gang valance police aggression sexual assault murder and the dangers of protesting. This move is not for the faint of heart with blood gore nudity deep themes. STORY 8.5/10 this story takes place in 1988 after world war III in neo Tokyo where the streets are run by the military and bike gangs it follows a group of said biker's and psychic powers and human experimentation . ART 9/10 man the art does look old but it moves smooth and is ahead of its time with greatexpressions and fights.
CHARACTERS
