Review of Memories

'Memories' consists of three short movies bundled together in order to make 'a more complete picture', but to be honest you only need to watch one of them to get all the good stuff. If the first short named 'Magnetic Rose' gets its own full-feature length movie, it could have been a solid one. 'Magnetic Rose' was all i expected from 90s anime, 45 minutes of story-rich, near-the-top level of art and motion quality that still holds up until now, after finished watching the first one, i was really on for the ride. But sadly, the other two shorts has such massive quality drops thatleft me disappointed.

The problem of 'Memories' is inconsistency, while the first short has quite the atmotsphere and story, the second and third aren't reaching the expectation and not really related to the trio's theme. While "Magnetic Rose' gets 8.5 from me, i can't really recommend watching the other two, which declined my overall rating for all the shorts combined.
