Review of NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind
This has everything you could expect from a gibli film. It has an amazing art style, a score thats worth a second listen just by itself, and a plot that, while not really deep and it still is meant for mostly kids, has a little bit more maturity that something disney would pump out and ca still be enjoyed by adults. The characters are pretty weak with the main character the definition of a mary sue but the main focus of this movie was on the story. It has good morals with stuff like the earth is your friend and all that jazz, so whileit doesn't have the most original moral, its the execution that really brings it to life. The aspect I enjoyed the most though was th world building. Its set in a post apocalyptic world but it still has its own original twist on that setting which ties into the story well and instead of explaining the history of this world to the viewer, instead, it ops to show the watcher by having bits of dialogue the clue the watcher in. This is a movie that almost anyone can find enjoyable and get something out of, no matter their age.
