Story: 8/10 The overall story isn't great but it's good, especially the ending. There are episodes where the story feels rushed even if every episode is 40+ mins long. The dialogues carried the show for me and filled the gap where the overall story lacked. I would've given a 9 or 10 if they explored a bit more into the characters that you meet in the show. Art: 8/10 It put me off at first but I started to like it the more episodes I watch; There are scenes where it's as if you're watching a painting move. It's certainly not everyone's cup of tea but it isquite unique in a good way.

Sound: 9/10
The sound together with the art really encapsulates you into the theme of the show. The sound glues together everything for the worldbuilding. If you've watched Demon Slayer then you'd recognize a similarity here.

Character: 8/10
Again, the characters were good. Especially for Shichika and Togame learning about each other as they collect the swords but, aside from the protagonists some supporting characters felt as if they were just fillers instead of actually supporting the growth of Shichika and Togame.

Enjoyment: 8/10
Although I pointed out that the dialogues were the ones that carried the show I did find the action a bit lacking as I was expecting a bit more fighting in the show. Regardless, this anime got me hooked at around episodes 3-4.

Overall: 8/10
It's a solid anime and I recommend giving it a try. The art and dialogue may be off-putting at first but if you get past through it then you're in for a treat.
