Review of A Certain Magical Index

I wasn't sure if I would finish this anime because I think a lot of the characters (especially female ones) are rather annoying and unlikable. For that reason, I actually stopped watching this anime for a couple months. I'm not really sure why I came back to it. The art is good and the story is interesting at certain times. The characters are just not very captivating... well except for Accelerator. He plays a minor role as a villain. It's later revealed that he has a tragic backstory and a caring heart. I'm not sure that I would continue watching the second and third seasons ofA Certain Magical Index, but I think it would be worth it to look into the accelerator arc that they do (he gets his own season where he is mc).
