Review of Chainsaw Man
Show themes: Gore, blood, violence, weapon use So I'm a bit late to the Chainsaw Man party but that one gif of Denji and Power dancing in the intro got me curious and so I started watching it, and this was probably one of the best decisions I've made. This anime is so good! The animation is gorgeous - the textures, lighting, effects, etc are really well done, and another thing I'll say before going into the story and characters is that the background feels full of life since there are people everywhere and are in a changing environment. Story & Characters: The storyline is prettyinteresting, I haven't read the manga so everything was a big surprise. It's quite engaging, the action got me hooked and I'm happy that it was clean (not visually overwhelming or harsh colours) and it's easy to keep track of where the characters are and how they're moving. The characters and their relationships were interesting too, there were some pretty chaotic individuals and teams, but each character is strong in their own right and I like how they have different fighting styles - it kept the action fresh. I found the comedic moments in the show to be quite funny and I am looking forward to more seasons of this show!
Other details: The music! It's amazing, I've had the intro song in my playlist for a while now but I didn't know that it was from this show. Also, I liked how the ending of each episode was unique and sometimes focused on a character or everybody.
Overall: I really liked this show, the quality of the animation made me speechless every episode. The characters are all very likeable and I now want to know what happens next!
