Season 2 was so much better than season 1! Season 1 had a great start. The director really set the stage on the struggles that Jinwoo faces as an E-rank hunter, and the first ever dungeon that caused Jinwoo to become a player was terrifying!! (The team animated this part and set the pace really well, but props to the author for writing such a great start to the series!) But after that, season 1 felt kind of excruciatingly long. And us picking up season 2 felt only an obligation. But we are so glad we did because it was peak! Story: 9/10 Minus afew changes, this anime was mostly true to the source.

One big improvement with season 2 compared to season 1 was that they ended each episode with a cliffhanger. This kept the viewers on their toes, wanting the next episode right away as they were waiting for it to air. The anime was so popular that on Saturdays, 12:30 PM EST, the servers for many streaming sites crashed because they were overloaded lol.

Another big improvement was that Jinwoo's leveling up felt kind of cringe in season 1. This time, they protrayed him in a way that he is cool now, making it fun to watch!

Character Development: 7/10
Jinwoo is a great character, but I would've loved it if they developed the other characters more! e.g. Cha Haein was talked about a lot in the manhwa, yet we didn't get much from her besides "you smell good" lol.

Art: 9/10
Great art & animation, especially for the fight scenes! I like the style in the manhwa better though, but it's still good lol.

Acting: 8/10
Great voice actors!

Overall, I highly recommend this anime if you're looking for an action-packed good time!
