The main story is about an office worker and a pet bird he bought. Imagine if you took all fantasy tropes, put them in a blender and let it blend. What you will get is Sasaki to Pii-Chan. It involves multiple elements of fantasy anime. Somehow they managed to keep it coherent and interesting and enjoyable. If they did not take it seriously, this would have been the ultimate parody anime. But since they do, it is a good fantasy anime. The MC nature and back story are developed. But there are many side characters to keep track of who will be underdeveloped.Writing - 8/10

Overall an enjoyable unique fantasy anime. Do watch it in spare time.
