Review of Vinland Saga Season 2

Introduction In my opinion, Vinland Saga Season 2 is a true masterpiece. It is a season that is often disliked by some because they feel there isn't enough fighting, but it definitely deserved to win many more awards. Summary Thorfinn is now a slave, yet he is a former warrior. He is joined by Einar, and together they work as farmers, constantly striving forward. Thorfinn carries deep regret for the people he killed in his past and wishes to build a peaceful life. However, soldiers eventually arrive at their farm, and it turns into a battlefield... (I won't write more to avoid spoilers). Comparison with Season 2 The first seasoncontained much more action and appealed to a broader audience. However, Season 2 is more philosophical and prioritizes peace over war. Simply put, if you only enjoy Shounen, you might not like this very much, but if you enjoy Seinen, you will love this season.

Conclusion
It is a high-quality production. I’ve read the continuation in the manga and it was beautiful; it follows Thorfinn’s efforts to establish a peaceful life in Vinland.
