Review of Chainsaw Man

Probably one of the best shounen to come out in a while. It’s very intense and is absolutely visually amazing. The characters feel like real, genuine people. All the action feels fun, cinematic, and brings me back to 2013-2015 when clipping certain anime fights for YouTube was the hypest shit ever. Using MAPPA as the studio for Chainsaw Man was definitely the best move you could make. I don’t see anyone else doing it better than them with how this thing looks. I very much came into it purely because of Makima, but everything else really sold me. I even moved on to the mangajust so I could have more the experience. Didn’t have a whole lot of anime in 2022 that I liked, but this was for sure one of them that I loved.
