Review of Devilman: Crybaby

A more than competent successor of the original work of Go Nakai, that even homages it into his 10 (and it's a shame that's only 10 episodes, but fuck me, if they ain't like punches to the throat) episodes, retelling the tale of Akira Fudo, a kid that bonds with the demon Amon and becomes DEVILMAN, while helping his childhood friend Ryo to exterminate the demons that plague humankind... or so it's believed, since the rhythm of the series switch tracks so fast during the second half of the series and goes on a emotional roller-coaster that pulverises everything and everyone in its path. DEVILMAN Crybabywill make you cry in rage, anger, fun or hate... and it will be a hell of a ride.
