Review of Space Dandy

Space Dandy is the crossover with Cowboy Bebop we never expected, but I sure am glad it happened. In terms of story, there isn't a whole lot of coherent story telling going on here. Many episodes will end in situations that make you wonder how they'll pick this up, only to seemingly forget those events even happened. Which is fine. Space Dandy succeeds in telling small, loosely connected stories that mostly entertain. Now, that's not for everyone, and not every story hits as well as some others, hence why story has the lowest score. But Space Dandy excels everywhere else. The character dynamic between themain crew is a healthy mixture of Star Trek and Mass Effect, and it makes each episode entertaining for the sole factor that every interaction with the main cast is golden. Space Dandy excels in comedy, although that doesn't mean it cant be serious where it needs to be. Overall, Space Dandy is a fun little show that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a show where you can just turn your brain off and bask in immaturity.
