Review of The Heroic Legend of Arslan

I am not usually a fan of historical anime but out of the ones I have seen, this one takes the cake. While a bit confusing if you lose track of the names, the story plot is exciting and full of action. And I am in love with the characters! Arslan is sweet and timid but knows what he wants and works hard to achieve it. His companions are brave, strong, and intelligent. This is not tagged but I find this anime quite mysterious. With war, a mystery of origin, and lovable characters this anime is one of my favorites!
