Review of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

I have been avoiding JJK for a long time. Until, I decided to give it a shot. I watched all of JJK (context: I had already seen clips of JJK S2 back in 2023). I had previously only seen the JJK 0 movie. So, anyway, here are my honest thoughts. I think JJK S2 is one of the best seasons of anime I have seen in recent times. Only animes that come this close would be AOT S4 Part 1 and Vinland Saga S2. Although, I'd say that JJK is not as good as AOT or Vinland Saga but the anime adaptation has elevated the sourcematerial.

My favourite part of S2 was the Hidden Inventory and Premature Death arc. I absolutely loved those first episodes. Shibuya incident arc is an incredible arc to experience. Not a single episode felt bad or mediocre. The animation was pretty rough in some places but it mostly felt good enough.

The opening is genuinely great. I listen to that song (SPECIAL) to this day. And genuinely am excited for S3 to come out January 2026.

Although, this anime is overhyped by some and has a fanbase that rivals the MHA fanbase, but is a genuinely good shonen anime.
