Review of Akira

The animation is really good and still hold up to this day ! I'm not a fan of the art style personally but it's still really good. The voice acting was average and a bit weak sometimes. The soundtrack is ok, but is forgettable. The themes and ideas for the story were interesting but poorly executed. The pacing was weird and the ending confusing. This movie was also a really bad adaptation of the manga and that's why overall it's overrated. So that's why I think the movie would have been better with a bit more simplify story for the adaption.
