8.1: Yamada Yuusuke Gekijou · review
The first thing I noticed when I started on this series was the quality of the artwork- the artful usage of strong contrasting worked perfectly to bring out the main focal points of each page- something I haven't seen in the mangas I've read. The art-style is very bold and minimalist- a nice combination that makes reading pleasant on the eyes. Character-wise, I cannot say much since at point of writing, only 2 chapters have been released. Because snuff film-esque plots are always eccentric and depraved, it also means that such a niche area would prove the worthiness of the authors to show whether they canmake or break it to produce a quality piece of work.
Overall, this is definitely an anime that's right up my alley- I already anticipate further situations imposed by the council of sadists; they'd be perfect intellectual fodder for my psychological dissection needs :P
