From the mind of Hiro Mashima, Edens Zero is a space fantasy manga following the adventures of Shiki Granbell and Rebecca Bluegarden on their journey to find the goddess of the universe "Mother". While many people make the assumption that this manga will be filled to the brim with "nakama power", like it's predecessor Fairytail, Mashima has actually done a fantastic job of subverting those expectations while poking fun at his own trope. This manga is full of compelling characters, interesting plotlines, and fascinating twists. I thoroughly enjoy this manga and will continue to read it weekly as long as it runs.
