Review of Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord

The anime is your typical isekai villainess story and adds nothing new or interesting to it. While it has a few funny moments, it’s mostly very bland and uninspired. All in all it’s characters are very one dimensional and the story remained predictable until the end. Beside the bad cgi, the animation is just average. Although the Opening was quite nice, the song is catchy. I stuck through it because it’s just 12 episodes, yet in retrospective I should have moved onto something better. I feel like even as something to just turn your brain off while watching, there is still better anime for that.
