Review of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
I felt that the author did not set the stage for the story very well. Things in the story seem to happen without any preparation or buildup. It appears that the author just wrote the story in a freestyle mode, which makes it hard to be convinced of. The same happens with battle techniques. Usually, a good author sets some rules for the battles and then tries to be creative within these rules. Jujutsu Kaisen's author creates the rules while the battles are happening, which makes it confusing and, most of the time, doesn't make any sense. Overall, the animation is fantastic in most scenes, but thisseason had much more inconsistency, with very bad animated/drawn scenes between terrific animated scenes. I wasn't expecting a PowerPoint-like episode like the last episode of this season of Jujutsu Kaisen, which is well-praised for the quality of its animation.
