I just finished season 1 and 2 of this series all in one night and I must say this series was SUCH A GOOD ISEKAI!!! Not only does it have an awesome story that was continued from season 1 but it also does a great job at exploring sentient life in the VRMMORPG that our MC is currently trapped in. I have always loved isekai with a twist and this has to be one of the best ones I have watched in a long time. It's got the trapped in a VRMMORPG vibe from SAO and the lore/world building mystery from shows like Re:Zero andOverlord. I was completely hooked on this show from its first episode and I think most would agree that for a donghua this is some top tier storytelling. Again the animation might be a little wonky at times but the story more than makes up for that. If you are looking for an amazing isekai with cool characters, awesome fights, a VRMMORPG vibe and a story with tremendous world building then you NEED to check out Monster but Wild! Both seasons!!! You won't be disappointed. At least I wasn't.
