Review of Chainsaw Man

If you gave this anime a bad review, you probably gave Clannad a 10. It has a touch of jujutsu kaisen vibes but more hardcore, more… everything. Stunning graphics, the background art is amazing. The story is fresh and after 12 episodes I am attached to and intrigued by the characters. Chainsaw Man conveys inner emotions with an unspoken weight, and the comedy is fresh material. Even the sexual nature of the scenes is way off from what anime normally is. Every sexual scene is consensual to both parties and entertaining, whether laughable, cringe, or genuinely sensual. The main character is something I’ve never seenbefore, and I love him. We’ve all seen the typical never stop hero story, which I do love, but Denji is something else entirely and I just can’t not like him. I put it off for a while because I didn’t know if I’d really like it, I mean, it’s called Chainsaw Man with a guy that’s got a chainsaw head. But it’s a masterpiece and a total pioneer for Shonen. I’ll be on the lookout for season 2’s premier announcement. Just watch it.
