Review of Chainsaw Man

I have purposely put of watching this ever since it came out. Coming from reading Chainsaw Man then hearing an anime announcement from MAPPA, I'm sure everyone was nervous because MAPPA wasn't really hailed as a great studio back then, but i think people just didn't like a new studio taking over AoT. The Chainsaw Man anime then released and many people sung praises. For some reason it made me more scared to watch it, so I've put off a couple years on checking it out. I thought that if I watched it, it would be that good that I won't be able to enjoyother anime for a while. I was right.

The chainsaw man manga felt a bit overwhelming and was hard to keep track of everything that was happening. Now that it's animated being brought into the world has never been better. MAPPA has really outdid themselves in every way with visuals, storytelling, sounds, music and animation. Sounds in scenes that enhance the experience creating extra tension along with high quality animations and visuals to fully immerse yourself. Ryū Nakayama (director) has a very clear passion for cinematography and his passion shines through in just about every frame.

I never thought that I would say this but Chainsaw Man fans ARE and WILL be eating good for a while.
