Review of Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic is a story about two geniuses, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya, who are the respective president and vice president of their school's student council. They're both in love with each other, but they're too proud to admit it, so they constantly try to outsmart each other in an effort to get the other one to confess first. I found this anime series extremely entertaining and enjoyable to watch. The plot is very creative, original, and unique. I like how it doesn't rely on any overused tropes or cliches, which are often seen in romantic comedies. The characters are all likable (eventhe supporting cast) and relatable, especially if you've ever been in a situation where you liked someone but were too afraid or proud to admit it outright. My favorite thing about this anime has got to be the humor though; there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments throughout all 13 episodes! It was also refreshing to see an anime that didn't take itself too seriously (which can often happen with romcoms).

The animation and art style are bright, colorful, and cheerful, which perfectly suits the tone of the anime. The characters are all well-designed and distinct from each other. I also really enjoyed the opening and ending themes; they're both very catchy!

In terms of voice acting, everyone did a great job, in my opinion. I think that Kaguya's seiyuu (voice actor) fit her character extremely well; she sounded exactly how I pictured her while reading the manga. Miyuki's seiyuu was also spot-on; he had the perfect blend of arrogance and insecurity that made him feel like a real person rather than just a 2D character on screen.

Overall, I would highly recommend Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic to anyone looking for a cute romantic comedy with plenty of laughs along the way!
