Here we are, 12 episodes into this rom-com, which began with a disastrous premise. We have Clark, a crown prince who, ten years ago, "decided" to take Leticia as his future wife against her will. Yes, we're in a medieval setting where, at the time, 1) women couldn't choose their spouses and 2) arranged marriages were common. Leticia doesn't want to be queen, not entirely because she dislikes Clark, but because she's a free spirit, think of her as the anime version of "Sissi." So, she tries to escape every chance she gets, and has been doing so for about ten years. During the show, we get toknow other characters, such as Leticia's brother, parents, brother-in-law, and even the Queen and King. All of the characters are unique and contribute to some very funny situations. At the end of the day, we have a romantic comedy set in a medieval world where our princess is, in fact, in love with the prince but HATES the royal world (and let's be honest, who can blame her?). Now, add to this that Leticia breaks the fourth wall every chance she gets, which adds even more funny moments. AND not only her, we see other characters doing this as well.

This show deserves more love than hate, and I firmly believe it was one of the best Winter 2025 shows. The bad reviews it received were simply because people can't separate reality from fiction

Below I kept the "review" (a rant) I wrote after 6 episodes watching week by week how people went scoring right away either 1 or 2, just because its doesn't appeal to their "morals".

YES, WE KNOW IF THIS WAS SETTING ON A MODERN DAY WOULD BE A RED FLAG.

I really love the MC, the girl is strong and really knows what she wants, however, she is the protagonist of a "medieval" (fantasy) setting, where women didn't have enought power or weren't taking as importart AND is also a romcom, so of course this show shoulnd't be taking as serious as other people want to. THIS IS FICTION, we know no means no, but as for the premise, narrative, characters and story, THIS ANIME IS GOOD ON IT'S GENRE.

Since episode one, I am enjoying this too much.
