I went into this movie blind, half-expecting it to be some form of recap; I couldn't be more wrong. The movie takes place fifteen days before Koro-sensei's deadline, where the class recalls moments from the past, not seen in the anime. Characters like Megu, Okano, Sugaya and more did not get as much screentime in the anime, but do get their moment in the spotlight in the movie. A brand new group of characters is introduced for the final part of the movie, and even with their limited time they manage to be memorable. I'll keep it brief: The comedy is still as whimsical as ever. For the story itself, it's brought in a more episodic style by recalling memories of moments we've never seen in the anime. After all these years, the cast still has that feel to it of a classroom you just can't help but wish to be a part of.

If you're a fan of the anime, I highly recommend you watch the movie as well!
