Melo Holic opens with its first chapters tricking you into thinking it is entirely a romantic story. What picked my interest was not the romance but how it was presented. The ML and FL get together early in the manhwa, and though romance falls in the background, it still carries its importance in the story. After they get together, the actual plot is unraveled engagingly. The writing and pacing are excellent, nothing feels forced nor rushed. It is one of those works where it seems the author started writing with the end in mind. The art is simple. The only remarkable point is how thecolor palette along with the writing set the perfect ambiance for the story. Nothing more comes to mind without spoiling. This was an enjoyable and entertaining reading. The suspense gets heavier in the last 15 chapters.
