Despite having finished this manga nearly half a year ago I only just now got around to leaving the review, and funnily enough, my memory of it perfectly encapsulates my review of Yoru no Manimani: I don't remember the names of the characters; I don't really remember the plot; I remember there being a bit of conflict, but not anything overly stressful; all I really remember is a short, cute story about a guy and girl talking to each other at night in front of an convenience store and them slowly falling in love. And that's pretty much the manga! It's not particularly memorable or original, butwhat it does, it does well: presenting you with a short, feel-good story that'll satisfy you for a couple afternoons (or one) before you move on to something else. Then it becomes a pleasant, hazy memory. The art is similar: it won't blow you away, but it's soft and warm and compliments the tone of the story.

At the very least Yoru no Manimani won't drag you along with unnecessary drama, annoying tropes, self-insert author fetishes, or out-of-place fan service. And in this industry (and genre), that's already above average. 6/10
