One shots are essentially demos or previews of a series. And this one showed a series that I think has potential to be something different. The main characters are both adults who have given up on their dreams. One because of fate and the other from self loathing. However a chance encounter in an alley one evening brings them back into each other’s lives and rekindles their friendship over survival games. I’m interested to see how the serialization goes in terms of the plot. OS’s tend to be just quickly introduce the characters and the general idea but many times both are tweaked for the full series. However,while there is some potential, I’m not sure if this is really my cup of tea at the moment. I will keep it in mind for future reference though.
