I watched this anime when it aired. It starts off slow and I considered dropping it. I’m glad I stuck it out because this anime is amazing and i find myself 10 years later still thinking about it. The slow build allows for a really rewarding payoff. This anime is definitely an excellent phycological anime with the mecha action being more limited. I dont wish to get too deep with information about the setting and characters but this anime carries similarities to evangellion but delivers in a way that resonates with me way stronger and without leaving the audience scratching their heads.
