Review of Black Clover

I just watched the final movie and realized one thing this series is missing: There's no "power song" during the big battle scenes, like with Bleach & Naruto (and many others). There's a little background music, but nothing that ADDS to to the action. I wanted to feel pumped up and really part of the battle, but I just felt like I was watching something that seemed exciting, instead of 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 excited by something I was watching. I think making the music part of the scene, instead of just background, helps with that. Apparently that's not enough for a review… Yes, it is predictable.Yes, it feels like a Naruto ripoff. So what? Naruto was awesome. Plenty of shows have 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 to be Naruto ripoffs. Black Clover came close enough to be entertaining and different enough not to be boring.

I enjoyed almost all the characters, eventually. Even the really whiny ones became interesting and helpful at some point (except the "Bwah hah hah" guy).

If you like action, like "feel-good" stories and aren't completely turned off by tropes, you'll probably like Black Clover.
