Review of Black Clover
I just watched the final movie and realized one thing this series is missing: There's no "power song" during the big battle scenes, like with Bleach & Naruto (and many others). There's a little background music, but nothing that ADDS to to the action. I wanted to feel pumped up and really part of the battle, but I just felt like I was watching something that seemed exciting, instead of π£π¦πͺπ―π¨ excited by something I was watching. I think making the music part of the scene, instead of just background, helps with that. Apparently that's not enough for a reviewβ¦ Yes, it is predictable.Yes, it feels like a Naruto ripoff. So what? Naruto was awesome. Plenty of shows have π΅π³πͺπ¦π₯ to be Naruto ripoffs. Black Clover came close enough to be entertaining and different enough not to be boring.
I enjoyed almost all the characters, eventually. Even the really whiny ones became interesting and helpful at some point (except the "Bwah hah hah" guy).
If you like action, like "feel-good" stories and aren't completely turned off by tropes, you'll probably like Black Clover.
