This OVA is pretty different from others you may be used to. It's basically another universe that is happening during the Edo Period in Japan The characters are stereotyped with their most memorable characteristics, and this is actually a really funny fact about the OVA, the comedy part you know? The story starts great, but the end is absolutely bad. It's really pushy to be funny, and because of that, the story is ruined and it was, at least for me, not funny. I absolutely love the art and sound from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, nothing to complain about it, it is really good, but not the bestI've seen, but it's still a really good point in it

It is a pretty OK OVA, not bad, not good, but at least we have an end, differently from the anime LOL
