Review of My First Girlfriend is a Gal

Sub: 4/10 | Dub 7/10 I normally don't go out of my way to write a quite review but, this one deserves it because it has two different sides to it. This is one of the rare cases where the dub is far superior to the sub. I gave it a 7, and it could've been an 8 if the character's had developed a little more personally. It felt as if they were going to build up to something deep but, those moments were shadowed and interrupted, 95% of the time, by comedy. Don't get me wrong this is hilarious, and the references makethis a staple dub for 2017. However, just a small break to flesh out what could've been would've easily pushed it up to an 8. Bottom line: watch it. Just be sure you're watching the dub, and you've got headphones on or are alone.
