Review of Devilman: Crybaby

I knew nothing about this anime coming into other than a short reddit post about how this is more of what Netflix should be doing with anime. That said I really enjoyed it (Subbed version). After the first episode I got used to the animation style and thought it worked extremely well with the music design. This anime has some of the best upbeat more modern music. The way they used the specific style and music is what really brought me in. I really enjoyed the story. It really pulled me in after episode 2. Even just the title is a part of the storyof good and evil or love and hate. The way they choose to use fear/distrust was fantastic.

Another part that really brought me in was the characters. With so little time to have you get invested, this anime does a great job with having you care about the characters and showing different specific character traits.
