Review of Tsukigakirei

This review was written years after watching the series so there may be some errors in some details. Tsuki ga kirei is an original romance series so the title is new to us yet some of us tried watching it. At first, it looks like a generic middle school romance about two innocent people and we're not mistaken about this. But what's special to this series is that their love is pure and innocent and we cheer for them as the series went. The story is simple yet so relatable that we reminisce our first love and youth. They used pastel colors so the animation isnot vibrant. The Opening "Ima Koko" gives me chills everytime I listen to it and it made me remember my life when I have the same age as the characters.

The characters are acts like their age and innocent in the concept of love and yet they tried to push themselves to for their feelings to reach the one they love. The friends, although unaware on the main characters' feelings, supported them.

This review may be biased since I've watched this series when I had the same age as the characters so I really enjoyed it. Though in real life, not everything will work in your way.

In conclusion, this series is worth a shot if you're interested in romance and innocent relationship.
